Clearing Browser Cache

Clearing the Cache in Chrome:

  1. Click the icon with the 3 vertical dots* in the upper-right corner.
  2. Click More Tools > Clear browsing data.
  3. At the top, choose All time as the time range.
  4. The default boxes can be left checked
  5. Click Clear data.

*If Chrome needs updated, the 3 vertical dots will be replaced with an exclamation mark.

Clearing the Cache in Firefox:

  1. Click the Menu button with the 3 horizontal lines from the upper-right corner.
  2. Click History >
  3. Click Clear Recent History
  4. Ensure that the time range to clear is “Everything” and that all five items are checked under “History
  5. Click “OK

Clearing the Cache in Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the Settings and more icon in the upper-right corner (it will be 3 horizontal dots)
  2. Click Settings from the menu
  3. Click the Privacy, search, and services link on the left
  4. Under Clear browsing data, click on Choose what to clear 
    -The default boxes can be left checked, ensure that “All time” is selected under Time range
  5. Click the Clear Now button

Clearing the Cache in Internet Explorer

Note:   Internet Explorer is being retired. On August 17th, 2021, Microsoft will end support for IE 11 across Microsoft 365 Apps and Services. We recommend switching to Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge.
  1. Click the Tools button from the upper-right corner
  2. Click Safety > Delete Browsing History
  3. Remove the check from Preserve Favorites website data
  4. Put a check in the following boxes:
    • Temporary Internet files and website files
    • Cookies and website data
    • History
  5. Click Delete.
  6. Close any open Internet Explorer windows then reopen Internet Explorer.
